My wonderful husband got me this tattoo for my 38th birthday. I have always wanted a tattoo, but wanted to be sure I found a design I would always love. I found this mother/daughter symbol online, it had flowers around the bottom, but I'm not a big flower gal, so I broke out the Photoshop and came up with this. I changed the flowers for a lady bug, Danielle was little I called her my Squeedle Beetle (not sure where it came from) which over time turned into Beetle Bug. I often buy her lady bugs. Most recently I bought her new step daughter a lady bug pillow and we are carrying the 'Bug' tradition forward My daughter recently got a smaller version on the inside of her wrist. On the bottom of hers she got a paw print. We had a dog we got when Danielle was only 8 who was her best friend. We had to put Chynna down last year, so the tattoo was Danielle's memorial to her. Not a great first entry in my blog. I promise tomorrow I'm going to sit down and come up with something amusing to share with the world.
